Bobby Fischer. In 1958, the youngest grandmaster ever, in 1972 the first and only American (US) world champion after defeating Boris Spassky, today, in Reykjavik, at the age of 64, deceased. Most important USian chess player since Paul Morphy.
I’m watching One Good Move to see if Norm has any comments on Fischer’s passage.
