Primarily Peeved

by Frank Paynter on January 19, 2008

I’m tired of the election already and we don’t even know who’s running. The way the media have treated Ron Paul and Dennis Kucinich prevents those on the left and the right from being able to affect their party’s platform.

The nominee on the right will be Romney, Huckabee, or McCain. At least there are distinctions that can be made among those three. Do you want a slick corporate tool with somewhat bizarre yet personal religious convictions, or a religious fundamentalist who wants a new constitution because god didn’t get enough input on the first draft, or a hardened veteran with right wing views?

On the left we will have a choice between a guy with a razor cut and a polished manner who will turn everyone off because he’s a lawyer and he talks like one, or a woman with a past, or a man with a future.
