Noel Hillman is a little man. Ashcroft is not a big man, but see how he dwarfs Hillman! Noel Hillman is a little man. A big man would have told then President Bush to stuff his Federal Judgeship, he was busy working on the largest political corruption case in the last thirty years. He would have told then President Bush that to offer the prosecutor who is Chief of the Justice Department’s "public integrity" section a judgeship just as the Abramoff case was washing toxic sludge onto the steps of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue is a callous abuse of power, and an insult to the man to whom the judgeship was offered. But Noel Hillman is a little man, physically and ethically.

WASHINGTON, Jan. 26 — The investigation of Jack Abramoff,
the disgraced Republican lobbyist, took a surprising new turn on
Thursday when the Justice Department said the chief prosecutor in the
inquiry would step down next week because he had been nominated to a
federal judgeship by President Bush.

Young man, met him in a dark bar on the lower east side, he was way polite and everything… whenever I read him I ask myself why not everyday? His site loads slow though…
anyway, he has an early link to the Bin Laden truce offering and an excellent comment thread beneath it.
And he has a brilliant post on Drew Barrymore and why it’s okay for her to be normal. My word, normal, not his.

A friend forwarded an email with this link. He says, "Whether Sharon lives or dies..this is how I will remember him."
Four years ago in North Carolina I heard about the wall from some people who had been booted out of Israel because UN employees and NGO staff were no longer welcome. Over the next few years the wall became more and more of a reality, until today it is fixed in the minds of the Sharon government as a 425 mile separation barrier that defines Israel’s broder with a future Palestinian state.
There is some hope that the Israeli democracy will put a stop to the jack-booted thuggery of Sharon’s mob, but the existence of the wall itself is a barrier to reconciliation.

Beth Hastings writes regarding the death of Frank Wilkinson:
My pinko roots. My father was very active (president at one point, I think) in
the Anti-HUAC organization in the 50s and 60s. Frank Wilkinson used to stay at
our house in Syracuse and in Pittsburgh when Anti-HUAC meetings were held. He
was a big man with a very loud voice, but very nice.

Go to Google, type in Asshole and click the "I feel lucky" button.
Unfortunately the people who need to see this won’t see it. But at this point, it’s really all that remains to be said, besides "50 years, no pardons, no paroles… bailiff, get these assholes out of my sight."
