Beth Hastings writes regarding the death of Frank Wilkinson:
My pinko roots. My father was very active (president at one point, I think) in
the Anti-HUAC organization in the 50s and 60s. Frank Wilkinson used to stay at
our house in Syracuse and in Pittsburgh when Anti-HUAC meetings were held. He
was a big man with a very loud voice, but very nice.
