Everybody Knows…

I have used this short phrase (Everybody Knows) in quite a number of presentations / talks on “wirearchy” over the past 5 years .. had an mp3 of it linked into my PPt deck at Reboot in C’hagen, my premise being that ‘everybody knows” even if quite / semi-unconsciously, that something big is up, and that the future looks much more like it will be more broken, rather than better. In fact, it might be murder.

I’ve long thought that Cohen is a gifted poet, a near-prophet. Comes out of Montreal, has a nice little abode in the bohemian part of town.
Jon Husband 09.13.07 at 8:20: Have you by any chance listened to his most recent CD ? It’s titled “Ten New Songs”, and is quite a bit lighter and melodic than much of his work .. it’s the kind of music that will have you singing along in the car and hitting “replay”.
