    There are over 150,000 minor planets orbiting the sun. Fortunately only a few of them are likely to collide with the earth and wipe out all life here anytime soon.

    You mean like Apophis? Expected to hit the pacific causing a tsunami that takes out the USA west coast in 2024?

    The dinosaurs are extinct because they didn’t have a space program.

    A fella I know (Monte Davis) wrote that if you don’t already believe this then all the talking in the world isn’t going to convince you.

    Sort of like insurance. I know a guy who drives around without insurance - he can do that in Wisconsin but it’s pretty foolish. Indeed he was in an accident last week …. and it’s ‘his fault’ legally even though the other guy is the cause.

    How many people would not buy insurance if they were not forced to by their mortgage company or the laws?
