The WordPress 2.1 upgrade has been a WONDERFUL experience, a joyful opportunity to learn SO MUCH about how to put my blog back together after I stupidly broke it.
I’ve always been a half-glassed full kind of guy, so let me tell you, there will be nothing half-glassed-empty about this here blog when I finally get ‘er done.
And, y’ know, if it hadn’t been for McD diagnosing the cause of my (ha-kaff, hunh,hunh,hunh) performance problem, I never woulda got this far, no sir.

I seem to be cursed with the ability to see both sides of an argument.
1) You should apologize to GoDaddy for implying they were hosing your site… (tho’ they did have a lot of issues that caused MySQL outtages etc).
2) We should wonder if GoDaddy shouldn’t have been able to suggest that your plug-ins were also a factor in page load times and expect better customer support from them in that regard.
Anyway, Dreamhost… they aren’t that much more expensive and you’ll learn so much more by making changes even when something ain’t broke. (If it ain’t broke… break it.)

How’s behind MeanKids.org? You seem to be so clued in or are your just RSS’ing the world for mentions of your name?
There is no RSS, there is only XML Syndication Service. Which I pretty much ignore as a user. But I am addicted to my stat counter so I can usually sniff out what people are saying about things that I am saying things about. If you get my drift…

Depends how far behind you want me to speculate. Some seriously mean sons-a bitches, I’d say, venomous creatures, posers and hosers and lamers and ‘tards… that’s what I think. Doug Alder maybe? Winston Rand? Ken Camp? Nahhh… more likely baldhead pervs like Godin and Rubel. Scoble?
