She’s sleeping in the knee-hole under my desk at home, still woozy from the pain meds, just hanging in, responsive to Beth when she scratches her forehead, but basically just enduring for now.

Give her pretty little snout a kiss for me, Frank, when you get a chance, if it’s possible to do that without upsetting her.
I guess you’ll know in a couple of weeks if this terrible experience keeps her away from the road in the future. Some herding dogs and hunting dogs never do develop a strong enough aversion. They try to get smarter about it.
For a guy who is NOT a vegan, I don’t know why I get sooo choked up at the idea of an animal in pain. Here’s to her romping again, soon (away from the road, I lost my last one to a car).
Thank you friends. I just want to get home and take care of her.
Oh, Frank. I am holding Molly in my thoughts. Safe travels home to her.
Just catching up with reading followign my “moving experience”, and learned of Molly’s follies. So sorry — I have a real weakness for dogs (and cats) in distress. Sounds like if she behaves for a couple of weeks to let the mending take hold, all will be well.
