Having problems making Stat Counter work over at Listics. All this php scripting is a baffler. I’d like to just be able to stuff the code between the <body></body> tags of a plain old html page. Thanks to those who are clicking over there from time to time in order to help me test.

I don’t see where you’re trying to put Stat Counter.
I might be able to help with this. I’ve learned a lot about making PHP and HTML work together. If you emailed me the index or theme php file (whichever controls layout on your site), I could find a way to make stat counter appear properly.
try between and in your sidebar, Is listics a word press blog? I can’t tell.
that would be “div” with opening and closing tags
