    What Google also has that MS doesn’t is dark fiber all over the western hemisphere and rapidly moving ino the eastern one as well with self contained data centers in shipping containers parked at strategic points along that fiber.

    Wow. That’s better than hydroponics, which is the only other stationary use for the shipping container that just leaps to mind… grow-lights, rich dirt and enough seedlings and you can eat those tomatoes all year round.
