Just Itching to get on the Road

Leaving Woods Hole in a few minutes. Hooking up with Dean for lunch. By mid-afternoon we’ll be in the wilds of mid-Jersey for a visit with Beth’s bro and family. Then tomorrow, bee-lining North to Montreal! The water was great here on Vineyard sound: warm, salty, clear, waves, sand, the whole nine meters. Vacations are good. I’ve taken hundreds of 6 megapixel pictures - extravagant waste of storage!

Contrary to popular USian belief, you absolutely do not need to speak French to be at ease in the city, and it is an absolute delight from a multicultural point of view. And, I have always found that the Montrealais are some of the warmest, most open people to be found in North America. Enjoy.
