Jon Husband has been excited by the pre-release information on this volume. I wonder if it lives up to his expectations?

Hmm .. did I come across as excited ? Mostly curious, and as always womndering why it takes a “name” like Tapscott to point out what seems, or has seemed, obvious to thise following the growth and spread of social software.
I have not read the book, but am guessing I will think the only exciting thing that it may contain is Tapscott’s observation that the use of wikis etc. may be the greatest change in an organizations’ core architecture in the past century.
I am not a big fan of corporate organizations but recognize that they keep a sizeable whack of our societies occupied in doing something, and that sometimes what they produce / offer is useful.
I strongly suspect that there will be much gnashing of teeth as such capabilities are introduced, and that more often than not their use will result in greater groupthink than may already exist.
Potential transparency meets autocracy … to watch, for sure.
