Lisbon, Portland and Perth

    Do I have a thing for westerly coasts? As a boy, I thought Perth would be the dandiest destination in Australia. recently I’ve been scouting Portland as a possible next stop. Today I flashed on Lisbon as a pleasant get-away.

    Well, Frank, Brooklyn is on the west coast of Long Island. Now, there’s a getaway.

    Also, I just wanted to say hi and remember you most fondly from BlogHer.

    I spent a short week in Lisboa about 4 years ago with my gal, walking, walking, walking, eating, watching people, drnking in the charm of the Lisboners (I don’t know if that’s the rightname, and it seems vaguely rude … oh, well).

    Highly recommended, can’t go wrong unless it’s pouring rain or some such.
