I love it when a new star appears in the blogging constellations that are visible from my desk. Anne Zelenka at Anne 2.0 is one such. She has a fine control over the medium, witness her use of the sidebar to link to a variety of "about me" posts. Anne 2.0 has a techno focus. Another blog, The Barely Attentive Mother, is more personal. A third webpub she writes is The Everyday Cafe. It’s about meals, every day.
Anne will be at BlogHer this summer. I hope I am too.

I’m a little embarrassed that The Everyday Cafe never really took off, yet I keep it on my momblog sidebar just in case I should ever get the time and motivation to work on it. I love good food but I have a hard time staying motivated to provide meals for my family everyday, thus the name of the blog.
I’m not exactly a “foodie,” but I am overweight so I qualify to comment. I think webpub is ideal for recipes and food talk… virtual meals. Eating is essential, yet transitory. Eat a huge breakfast… tomorrow you’re hungry again.
