Montreal

How much can you tell by a drive-through? You can tell whether or not you’d like to return and spend some quality time. The answer was a solid yes for Montreal. It’s a city that called out to me to move there. We only spent a little while driving around and touristing. Most of our time out of the car was spent at the Oratory of Saint Joseph.

I thought the sculpture garden could have used some bronzes, and it certainly needs a few nudes to offset all those concretions of guys in robes lugging huge crosses and what-not.

Mecca… Montreal… humans are certainly some kind of peculiar animal.

If you wanted nudes in Montreal you needed to head down to the corner of Ste. Catherine and St. Denis…

I used to live virtually in the shadows of the dome of L’Oratoire. Nice part of the twon, but there are many much more interesting areas.

You’re right … it is a city that feels alive, and calls one to consider living there.
