Pinewood Derby had come and gone. The Paynter boys had received jack knives with their derby kits, and we all sat together carving our entries from the Cub Scout issue rectilinear wood blocks contained in the kits. Meanwhile, in upscale garages across Marin County, fathers were powering up their lathes, their planers, their radial arm saws, and engineering their sons’ entries to the finest tolerances allowed by the race officials.
Team Paynter lost that day, but we learned some important lessons. That’s Matt on the left, me in the middle, and Ben on the right with the famous Pig Truck!

Matt’s chevron like paint-job looks the most spectacular by far IMHO.
I (perhaps absurdly) feel like I already know Ben from reading him all the time and am not surprised he made a “pig car”.
Yours is leaning toward tractor, but that is to be expected. Both you and Ben look great working that Junior Soprano thang.
I suddenly want onion rings.
(More. Even if you just put them up somewhere else like facebook and shit.)
