I’ve shifted blog tools from Typepad to WordPress in pursuit of that illusion: control. Slowly over the next few months I hope to evolve a new format and use more tools better. Tagging is one of the tools I must master. Using Oddiophile’s Rather Fab Technorati Tag Bookmarklet I may make inroads into the wonderful world of tags. Or so Lorelle says.

If you really want to get into tags better than Oddiophile’s Bookmarklet, I recommend you take a look at The Ultimate Tag Warrior WordPress Plugin, something that really revolutionized how I use tags on my full version WordPress blog. It is really powerful and not for the timid, but you don’t seem to be very timid. 😉
Enjoy!
Thank you! I’ll check it out.
fp,
Commenting one, two, three.
I have been reading for awhile. The new site is great, but I think the slideshow center top is a drag. So drag and drop-it! 😉
Sorry, just my .02
scruncher… do you like the current slide show better, or do you think slide shows simply suck?
Hi Frank,
Oh, I see those are real pics now? With the earlier one I thought it was ads, sorry.
The reason I mentioned it was, on the last visit I was using my older/slower laptop and the slide show really put a drain on your page load time. Your other site always loaded quickly, so I noticed it right away here.
Don’t dislike slide shows in general, but I don’t like slow page loading.
Cheers!
scruncher… on balance do you think it’s better to share the slides or not? Your site is minimalist, so I infer that less clutter is your preference in design, but say I changed the show every so often and took it down when I had no fresh content — would that be a good thing?
You are too kind. Yes I do prefer reading weblogs without moving parts ;), but sharing the slides when fresh sounds like good thing.
Thanks for listening.
