A Finnish scientist (not Linus Torvalds) and a colleague from some other research grant poor environment won the ultimate Ig Nobel Prize tonight for his work on the fluid pressures and dynamics of penguin poop.  Sadly, his recorded acceptance speech lost the audio feed, so attendees - both local and via webcast - missed the story behind the project.  The Ig prize committee promises that the speech will be available when the recordings of tonight’s gala are posted.
