Ain’t Behooving

The masthead at Misbehaving lists ten collaborators.  I’ve met three, interviewed two of those, enjoyed the meetings and the interviews… oddly the one who lives closest is the one I’ve spent the least time with face-to-face.

Of the remaining seven there are three I’d like to meet, three for whom I feel no particular affinity, and one jerk.

I tried a cogent comment comparing and contrasting Misbehaving with Worthwhile. But they Typepad insisted my URL was bad no matter what I put in there and screwed up my browser window make me start all over. So now I’m feeling all huffy and censored and shit. So I’ll abbreviate and say neither lives up to their name in my mind.

I am sorry about that Ken. I would have liked to have read your comparative narrative… Wait. Dude. There’s a hip hop thing trying to get out of that last sentence.

“Know a woman involved with technology whose site should be listed here? Let us know, at suggest {at} misbehaving {dot} net.”
–when the site first started i submitted my url and was promptly ignored. guess i’m not woman or involved with technology enough.
–i wonder if your jerk is the same as mine. i read the blog of my jerk all the time just to get annoyed.

When the site first started I submitted the addresses of a few dozen women (probably including yours). The dominatrix there, the tech school teacher in charge had some bizarre screening criteria that left several of my suggestions out. Since I love women more than she does and I know a lot more about technology and how people are using it, I was miffed.
