The controversy about a statewide feral cat hunt is heating up:

"People shoot cats. It’s just the way things are out here," said White,
who attended the meeting wearing a T-shirt that read "I do what the
voices in my tree stand tell me to do."

I don’t know what I find this odd. It’s not really. In Town here, they used to shoot starlings. About twenty years ago. But the thing was only the police could shoot them. So, imagine, the eight or ten cops revlovers unhlostered firing into the trees of the quaint tree-lined streets. Years ago when I lived in Toronto, the sea gull population was so bad on the Toronto Islands - they were breeding, out of control, like Catholics - the parks department was forced to posion the eggs in spring.

If this were rats, would we care?

I’m going to get myself a tree stand, see what the voices say to me.

By the way, where can I get a T shirt like that. I guess I’ll just have to make one.
