What State CIO, a man as beloved as Attilla the Hun, got his walking papers this week but is delaying announcement of his separation until he can line up something else so he can save face? Well, how many State CIOs are there? How many of them are shamelessly corrupt, clueless regarding policy and planning, technically narrow and protected only by a dying reputation as a campaign fund raiser? Hey there must be close to fifty State CIOs to choose from. You sure as heck didn’t hear it here first. Unlss it turns out not to be a rumor, that is.
Ahhh… it’s probably just wishful thinking. Sicne when have project failures, cost over-runs, massive staff defections, impossibly poor customer service, lack of a planning team and lack of a plan been grounds to fire a sleazy political hack?
