The Concorde stands as a beautiful tribute to humans attempts at something bigger than themselves. I also regret not being able to fly on that great plane! I know that it was inefficient and wasted precious resources, but damn it was as close as mundane humans ever get to reach out and touch the face of eternity.
It was a great bird, weighed down by the beancounters and no imagination bureaucracys of the world. RIP
