The Dash

It’s been said that it’s not the dates on your tombstone (i.e., 1932-1999) that are important, it’s the dash that counts.

Caught this in the comments at the Worthwhile blog, a web publishing exercise that seems to transcend the quotidian blog-blather.

There I was, in the Boston area, and I chose to sit indoors on the most beautiful day of spring. Others made wiser choices.
