It’s not an issue.

I like the idea of not having to keep on buying battery, after battery. How long do you gotta stay outside in the sunlight for the watch to charge up?

I’m happy to have an every-day watch that looks okay and will never require a reset or a battery change!

It seems to be my forever watch in spite of my own and others’ efforts to replace it. I bought a nice (and pricy) Movado along with another for my wife for our twentieth anniversary, but can only bring myself to wear it for dress occasions (rarer and rarer these days). Jay and Katie were kind enough to get me a UW Badger watch, really cool, for Christmas. But somehow the eco-drive keeps hopping on my wrist every morning, going out for riding mower rides, and most everything else, as it has for more than ten years now.
