Ben Paynter, whose work was previously anthologized in Best American Sports Writing (2006) adds two anthology credits this year for two Wired stories:
- The Other Other White Meat, a story about cloned meat in the American market, is due to appear in Best Food Writing 2008.
- The Meteor Farmer, a story about meteor hunting, is scheduled for re-publication in Best of Technology Writing 2008.
Both stories also provided inspiration and source material for features on the PBS Wired Science series (Got Clones? and Meteorite Hunters).
