Family matters

Grasping at straws, the Republican campaign has tried to make hay from some London Times reportage revealing the presence of some relatives of Barack Obama living in straightened circumstances in Boston. Obama’s aunt, Zeituni Onyango is said to be in the US illegally. I hope this is the best the McCain supporters can do in terms of an October surprise, because “revealing” Obama’s roots simply underscores his achievements and his fine character.
