Harvard has an endowment approaching 30 billion dollars. The Iraq war has cost so far over 305 billion dollars. The government could have endowed ten Harvards for the cost, added 100 million to the endowments of each of 3000 (three thousand!) colleges and universities... applying three hundred billlion to alternative energy research and development could have put the carbon club out of business... this is just the macro rant... the individual crimes, the treason, stripping away constitutional protections, cloaking the evil of Cheney/Bush beneath the flag... obscene moments like Ashcroft covering the tits of the statue of Justice... there is no way with words and images and symbols to exceed the transgressivenes of the government's behavior. “the government’s behavior…” don’t get me started.
