It was Noshville Katz BEFORE the loving Spoonful's Nashville Cats, and was probably their inspiration. The food was much closer to genuine Kosker Deli whe Noshville ran the place, and has gone downhill since his death. It is still the best deli food in Tennessee. There is a song parody that was first sang on the Perry Como show by Frank Gorshin in the early sixtys, but it is now sung by the Lovin' Cohens. I will do two things: 1. Check out the city's great singer/songwriter scene, to take in people like Janis Ian, et al, who perform all the time in all sorts of small clubs. Nashville has become a real sensation, attracting songwriters of all types, not purely Country or Countrified types. 2. Check out Noshville. If the food lives up to the reviews (I've been told about this place before, in fact, a number of music biz friends of mine chatted it up), I will have to inquire as to just where do they procure their provisions? Maybe from a NE state known for many a deli? Without a doubt, next time I find myself in Nashville (?) I will do two things:

It doesn't say "Noshville Katz" does it? That would be funny? Maybe... you think? I can’t quite make out the bottom of the sign. It doesn’t say “Noshville Katz” does it? That would be funny? Their hot pastrami's are piled high and to kill for! Come on back when you can and try some more of their fixins.
