He also had a restraunt in Jack London Square called 'Steak & Burger by Albert'. This was about 1973 or so. He tried to go franchise with Fat Albert's and ran into the copyright problem, hence, the name change. This was from the horses mouth back in the mid to late '70's. We have been customers since the opening of the Berkeley store. I agree regarding the strengths of the two locations.
